Five historic designs uncovered at Château de Purnon have been reinterpreted by Farrow & Ball to form The Purnon Papers - a collection that captures the grace and grandeur of the French château at its most vibrant. Each pattern has been carefully reimagined in five elegant colourways to suit both traditional and modern interiors. Every roll is crafted by hand using time-honoured printing methods, fine paper, and richly pigmented Farrow & Ball paint.
A timeless design from the collection, Purnon features a graceful heron motif that lends a sense of refinement and quiet drama to any interior. The pattern originates from an 18th-century folding screen once used to divide grand banquet rooms at the château into more intimate spaces.
