Tallow is a creamy yellow-based white, taking its name from the natural material once used to make soaps and candles. Its underlying pink and yellow pigments give it a warm and reflective quality that helps to make the most of any available light.

First time using Farrow and Ball Casein Distemper. Paint was smoothly creamy and went on easily, not like some other watery paints I have used in past. Will be sticking with F &B from now.

I’ve used this before and it’s so easy to do and such a lovely finish on the kitchen walls of this rather crumbly old farmhouse… good stuff!
A lovely colour with soft but hard wearing finish. People keep complementing me on my decorating skills. It's not me, it's the paint :) Highly recommend.
s Superb paint. Expensive but covers many surfaces with just one coat and the finish is excellent. No difficulties with eithe roller or brush. I would not buy any other make, having used F & B pains for several years now.
