Little Greene's Limewash is highly breathable and vapour permeable, making it an ideal choice for older buildings and walls prone to damp. Unlike conventional paint, Limewash works by soaking into the surface, with colour and depth developing through the gradual application of multiple coats.
It offers a beautifully soft texture and authentic depth of colour, making it an ideal choice for the sensitive restoration of period properties.
Chalky finish
Limewash is a water-based paint with a beautifully chalky matt finish.
This exterior finish dries quickly, becoming touch dry in just one hour. However, it’s recommended to wait 24 hours between coats. For best results, four coats are advised.
Limewash is offered in a broad selection of shades from the Little Greene colour palette.
