Pure Flat Emulsion 2% sheen · dead flat

The flattest finish in the range. It dries to a soft, chalky matt that lets the colour look deep and velvety, with no shine to catch the light.

Best for

Walls and ceilings in living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms, anywhere you want maximum depth of colour.

Not designed for regular wiping. For hallways, kitchens or children's rooms, choose Architects' Matt.

Architects' Matt 3–5% sheen · matt

Almost as flat as Pure Flat, but fully washable, with excellent scuff and stain resistance. Self-priming, so it goes straight onto most surfaces.

Best for

Busy walls: hallways, stairs, kitchens, bathrooms and children's rooms. Also works on woodwork and radiators for a matt-all-over look.

Architects' Eggshell 10–20% sheen · low sheen

A tough, water-based finish with a soft, smooth low sheen. Hard-wearing and easy to wipe clean.

Best for

Woodwork, skirting, doors, furniture, metalwork and radiators, inside and out. Also suits walls that need to stand up to cleaning.

Architects' Satin 30–35% sheen · satin

A self-priming finish with a subtle mid sheen, built for surfaces that get handled and knocked every day.

Best for

High-traffic woodwork: doors, skirting, windows, banisters, kitchen cabinets and furniture.

Architects' Gloss 80% sheen · high gloss

A protective, durable water-based gloss that dries to a high shine, without the yellowing or smell of traditional oil gloss.

Best for

Front doors, trims, window frames, railings and anywhere you want a crisp, classic gloss.

A primer and undercoat tinted to your chosen colour, so your top coats cover better and look truer.
