Bombazine, a blended fabric of wool worsted and silk, comes from the word 'bombycinus', used to refer both to something silken and to the colour of the silk moth – a creamy pale yellow just like this one. Bombazine sits between Ringwold Ground and Farrow's Cream in the Farrow & Ball palette, and creates a fresh feel combined with New White.
Recommended Primer & Undercoat: Mid Tones → Go to Primers
