About this finish

Dead Flat 2% sheen · ultra matt

Farrow & Ball's flattest finish, now tough enough to scrub. A chalky, light-softening matt that works across walls, woodwork and metal, so a whole room can be painted in one finish.

Best for

Walls, ceilings, skirting, doors and radiators where you want a completely flat, colour-drenched look.

Pointing is a pale yet warm white from the Farrow & Ball Red Based Neutrals group, named after the mortar used in traditional brickwork. It makes a sympathetic addition to any scheme that uses strong, traditional colours, where a bright white might feel too high-contrast.

Recommended Primer & Undercoat: White & Light Tones   → Go to Primers
Complementary White: All White (2005)

Love the product. Super creamy paint. A sample put goes a long way.

Love the colour. Applies so easily and definitely worth the extra versus cheaper brands

Pointing (2003)

Pointing is a good light coloured accent. It's not too stark, just a subtle contrast.

Pointing (2003)

Covered old bookcase easily and beautifully
