Baracé 6604

Regular price £150.00

Five historic designs uncovered at Château de Purnon have been reinterpreted by Farrow & Ball to form The Purnon Papers - a collection that captures the grace and grandeur of the French château at its most vibrant. Each pattern has been carefully reimagined in five elegant colourways to suit both traditional and modern interiors. Every roll is crafted by hand using time-honoured printing methods, fine paper, and richly pigmented Farrow & Ball paint.

This design was uncovered in the château’s attic, though it originally adorned the bed of Madame de la Motte Baracé’s mother. From this timeworn fragment, the Creative Director of Farrow & Ball reinterpreted the motif into a bold yet refined pattern - a contemporary revival of its 18th-century elegance.

Full roll width is 53cm/21", roll length is 10m, pattern repeat 20.5cm / 8 1/16".

To ensure a consistent finish, we recommend ordering all the rolls you need in one batch, as each is hand-crafted using traditional printing methods and real paint, resulting in subtle variations between print runs. Unopened rolls may be returned, except for Archive papers.

Farrow & Ball wallpapers are coloured with the same richly pigmented paints found in their palette, though tones may appear slightly different on paper than on walls. For confidence in your choice, we suggest ordering a free sample before making your final selection.
